Job Offer from March 21, 2025

The Fritz Haber Institute of the Max Planck Society for the Advancement of Science is one of the most internationally renowned research institutes. More than 400 employees in 5 scientific departments conduct and facilitate top-level research on historic grounds in Berlin-Dahlem, which is unique worldwide.

We currently offer a Postdoc position (m/f/d) for the application of THz fields in ultrafast electron diffraction (UED) in the Department of Physical Chemistry of Prof. Martin Wolf. The successful candidate will join our ultrafast electron diffraction team in the Max Planck Fellow Group Structural & Electronic Surface Dynamics. The team studies femtosecond structural dynamics in a variety of condensed matter systems using in-house UED experiments and is associated with the Ultrafast Nanoscience group of Prof. Ralph Ernstorfer at TU Berlin.
