The Max Planck Society and the Canadian University of Toronto have agreed to cooperate in the development and use of state-of-the-art technologies to study the human brain within the framework of the Max Planck - University of Toronto Centre for Neural Science and Technology (MPUTC). More than ten Max Planck Institutes are involved in this initiative.
The Free State of Bavaria is providing 300 million euros (subject to the approval of the parliament) for the establishment of Munich Quantum Valley as the central element of the Bavarian quantum initiative.
