Curriculum Vitae
Born 1973. Undergraduate training in physics at the Eberhard Karls University in Tuebingen, Germany, graduate training (Ph.D. 2004) at the Graduate School of Neural & Behavioural Sciences and International Max Planck Research School in Tuebingen. Weiskopf did his post-doctoral training as a Senior Research Fellow at the Wellcome Trust Centre for Neuroimaging, University College London (UCL). In 2006 he became Head of the Physics Group at the Wellcome Trust Centre for Neuroimaging at UCL. In 2014 he was appointed Professor of MR Physics and Neuroimaging at the Institute of Neurology, UCL. In April 2015 he joined the Max Planck Society as Scientific Member and Director of the Department of Neurophysics at the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences in Leipzig, Germany, on a part-time basis. Since April 2016 he is full-time Director of the Department of Neurophysics. He holds an Honorary Professorship at the Faculty of Physics and Earth Sciences at University of Leipzig and an Honorary Professorship at the Institute of Neurology, UCL, United Kingdom.
