The main focus of the discussion is the effects of aging on our work life. Will we have to work longer in the future to get a sufficient and adequate pension? Are we even going to be physically and mentally able to work beyound the age of 67? It may also be necessary to ask this question twice since, naturally, aging affects both biological sexes. But is there a difference between the way men and women age? And what will be the consequences of such a difference in the aging process?
Modern technology has revolutionized our life. But what is science and technology able to achieve when it comes to aging? How is the population responding to the progress being made in technology? Since aging is a worldwide phenomenon, it will be very interesting to compare how the elderly societies of Germany and Israel handle the various challenges of getting older and what these developments might lead to.
