Summary
International investment law (IIR) has a longer history than assumed and is shaped by various actors. Anglofone influences are outpacing its fundamental development. These findings stem from a critical analysis of IIR jurisprudence at the Max Planck Institute Luxembourg. The project encompasses a variety of specialised literatures and case law in different languages and legal cultures and brings together a diverse team of researchers and practitioners.
